1. Start your assessment

From the homepage, either describe your situation in a sentence or two in the quick-start box (e.g. "I'm from Nigeria, 27, a nurse, and want to work in the UK") and let Visa Ray pre-fill answers, or click "Start with questions instead" to go through the guided wizard from scratch.

2. Answer the guided questions

Questions adapt to your destination and goal — for example, choosing Germany adds a question about whether your job offer meets the salary threshold, while Canada asks about your province of interest. You can go back and change any answer before finishing.

3. Read your assessment

You'll see every pathway relevant to your goal and destination, each with a fit rating and a score out of 100. On the free tier you'll see pathway names only; unlock the full breakdown — why each pathway matched, what's still missing, fees, documents, and next steps — with a paid plan.

4. Use the roadmap and report

Pro plans and above unlock a step-by-step roadmap sequenced around your specific gaps, and every paid plan can download a PDF report to save or share.

5. Ask follow-up questions

Use "Ask Visa Ray" for specific questions like "What documents will I need?" or "How much will this cost?" — answers are matched to the same structured pathway data, with sources, not generated freely.

6. Create an account

Sign up with Google or email from the button in the top right of any page. This lets a paid plan follow you across devices instead of staying tied to one browser's local storage.
